Our thanks and appreciation

Thank You from us ......

Angleton Volunteer Fire Department (including surrounding Fire Departments), Emergency Medical Service units, Angleton police / traffic control

I would like to express our gratitude and thanks, to the Angleton Fire Department / Volunteer Fire Department for their engagement and organization of the funeral procession for our son, John-Henry, on July 06, 2012.

Every detail was organized. The traffic control and escort from the Church to the Cemetery, transporting the coffin on the fire engine, (5602 I think), the honor Guard to fold and present the US Flag, and walking my son’s coffin to the burial site.

A special thanks also to the catering and food that was given to the family and friends after the funeral.

Watching the Fire Department execute this effort was an enormous help getting through the saddest day our lives.

I was thinking silently, I hope there is no fire now, because all of the Fire Trucks were at the funeral.

There were Fire Trucks and EMS vehicles from Angleton, Clute, Freeport, Rosharon, Holiday Lakes, Danbury, Nassau Bay, Forest Bend, Brazoria County ESD and perhaps others I have missed.

To the volunteer Fire Fighters that knew and worked with my son, and those who participated out of their sense of comradeship, we salute you.

May God be with you.
