Flags were flown at half-staff

The City of Angleton received permission from the governor’s office to fly state and national flags at government offices at half-staff in honor of John-Henry.

At the request of the Angleton Volunteer Fire Department, Councilman Jason Perez contacted the Texas State Rep. Bonnen’s office,  which directed him to submit a flag request to the governor’s office.

The governor’s office granted the request, and The flags were flown at half-staff Thursday through Saturday morning, July 5th through July 7th.
